Help us re-forest the Trail! (Click on “Tickets” for an order form) Removing invasive buckthorn and diseased ash trees has given us the opportunity to add native trees and shrubs. Once again the Village of Glencoe and the Friends of the Green Bay Trail have joined forces to offer Trees for the Trail. This program will allow residents who wish to donate trees for the trail to have their tree labeled with their name, or the name of a loved one being honored or remembered. Trees for the Trail Order Form.
This program offers residents a shared cost opportunity; residents pay 50 percent of the cost, and the Village pays for 50 percent of the cost of the tree (similar to the Village’s 50/50 Parkway Tree Planting Program).
